One-on-one test prep coaching for students looking to make gains on the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and SSAT.

Tailored sessions, exercises, and instruction based only on student strengths and weaknesses.
Expected commitments:
at least 24 hours total of one-on-one test prep*
12 hours of verbal, 12 hours of math
8 weeks, twice per week
90-minute sessions
Student will complete daily homework and practice between sessions
Student will sign up for 3 official sittings of the exam
Average gain after 8 weeks (12 hours) of tutoring:
+ 5 points on the ACT English and Reading sections
+100 points on the SAT/PSAT (+50 for verbal or math only)
*students with learning differences who receive accommodations (extended time) in school and on standardized tests often find they similarly need more instruction than this recommendation. Every year, approximately 40-50% of my students have some kind of learning difference (i.e. dyslexia, processing speed differences, ADD, ADHD, dysgraphia)
