What to Bring to the Digital SAT

The College Board has finally rolled out the new Digital SAT for domestic (US-based) students. Expect there may be snags, even though they have been testing this format out in international markets and for the PSAT for a year.

What you need to do the day before the test

  1. Ensure you have a WiFi-capable device (laptop, tablet) with charging cable that you can bring with you to the test center tomorrow.

  2. Download CollegeBoard's Bluebook app

  3. Log in to the Bluebook app, double-check your testing site locations and times, and print out your admission ticket (or save an image you can show on test day) using the link they provide.

  4. Gather the following items tonight so you don't have to search for them tomorrow:

    • Photo ID

    • Entrance Ticket

    • Digital testing device - FULLY CHARGED! with Bluebook downloaded and a charger

    • Pens/pencils (for scratch paper work on the math section)

    • Approved Calculator (there will be an embedded graphing calculator on the test, but it may help to have one you're familiar with)

    • Drinks/snacks for your break
